Social Events

We have a number of social events throughout the year.

Upcoming Events:

Car Rally!

Our first social event for 2010 will be a car rally/treasure hunt on Sunday 21 March from 1.15pm(ish) (after Club), leaving from Gillies Ave.

Get together a car load (minimum of 2, though 3 or 4 is better) to follow our clues to the finishing venue, picking up objects along the way. If you want to have a go but don't have either a car or passengers, we can probably join some people up. It's not limited to Club members so feel free to include family or friends in your car.
It should take about 1 - 1.5hrs, finishing at Ambury Regional Park, Mangere Bridge.
There is no cost (unless you want to buy an object on the treasure hunt list). There may be some small prizes at the end.
Feel free to bring some food to have a picnic afterwards. There are also walks and a farm park here if you want to bring the kids (see www.arc.govt.nz/parks/our-parks/parks-in-the-region/ambury for info on the Park).
