There is an additional cost to playing interclub which is payable in advance:

• - $12 per night played - this cost is not included in your membership fee
• - We will calculate an estimated number of nights played and charge you this amount
• - This must be paid within 3 weeks of the start of the competition
• - If you end up playing more or less games we will refund the difference, or get a top-up payment from you at the end of the season.

Ensure that you review the availability section of the form and untick any nights you know you have other commitments on

• - This may influence which team you are selected for - each grade/section plays on a particular night which is fixed by Auckland Badminton. Refer to the Competition Info page for this information.
• - Interclub starts at 7pm, and the first game must be started by 7.30pm or a default may occur - there is more information about this on the Information for Participants page
• - If arriving by 7pm is a problem for you, please note this in the 'additional notes' box on the form.

If you are selected for a team you must be available to play on each night of the season, or arrange a reserve to cover you. If you cannot make it and do not arrange a reserve, you may be liable for any default fees that result from this. If you withdraw from a team and have not found a replacement player then you may be liable for team default fees if we are unable to find someone to take your place.

The contact phone number and email address you supply below will be listed in the team member contact list. This is used by other members to contact you if a reserve player is needed. It is not to be used for any other purpose.

We cannot always select everyone who applies for a team. We will let you know as early as possible whether or not you have been selected for a team. All members who are not selected for a team are automatically added to the reserve list. Note that the decisions of the Balmoral Selectors are final.

A reminder on grading - this year Auckland Badminton are grading the sections as 1/2/3/4. For the purposes of this competition A = 1, B = 2, C = 3, D = 4.

Playing interclub is a privilege and as you are representing the Balmoral Badminton Club a high standard of behaviour is expected. Members who fail to observe this standard of behaviour may be removed from the team and/or the competition and may be liable for default fees as a result.
