The following table summarises the fees for the 2012 season. Note that the fee must be paid in full within 3 weeks of joining the club.

| Half year | $130 | $95 | This is for individuals who only wish to play for half a year. The year being split in two parts 1-February to 30-June and 01-July to 31-October. You have the same rights as a standard member but for part of the year. |
| Competition only | $85 | - | This is for those individuals who wish to be fully affiliated with the ABA but do not wish to participate in club days. With this you are affiliated with the ABA and allowed to participate in interclub and various national tournaments. You may only attend a maximum of 3 club days. Any more and you will have to pay a visitor fee |
Notes:
* Social Members - You are affiliated as a social member with the ABA. You're not entitled to play any interclub games or at national tournaments. If you do, then you will be liable for the additional subscription fee. Note that ABA bill us automatically if this happens, and we will charge this to you.
* Interclub fees - a Full membership entitles you to enter the Interclub competition, however there will be an additional per-night charge. This is billed at the start of the Interclub season, and must be paid within 3 weeks of the season starting. The cost for 2011 has not yet been confirmed, but we expect this to be around $90 - $110 per player.
* Visitor fee refund - if you have visited us, paid the $10 visitor fee and then wish to join, we will refund the cost of up to 3 visits. You must present the receipts as proof that the fees were paid when you pay your membership fee. Note that this does not apply to half year or competition only members.
* Half year rate - note that the half year rate also entitles you to play on the club play days at the beginning of the following year. We cannot accept new members until the fees have been set for the new season, which normally happens around 1 month after the season has begun.
* ABA Gillies Ave lighting cards - Club members are entitled to discount rates on court hire at the Gillies Ave courts. The ABA has different discount rates depending on your memebership level, the rates are on the ABA website: www.auckbad.co.nz/news/Lighting Card.htm. Balmoral social members get the 'Recreational' rate, and full members get the 'Full Club' rate. As we only submit membership updates to ABA periodically, if when requesting the discount rate you are told that you aren't on their club list, please contact the club to get your information updated.

Club Season runs approximately February to October each calendar year. Summer competitions are available through the ABA.
